Services

Backend Suite

You'll find all the tools needed to collect and manage your data. Set up all your alerts and campaigns to go out an hour or a year from now with calendar. Manage your short code and keywords on demand. Get instant reports on all your messaging. Send messages in multiple forms.

SMTP

This is a cheaper and semi reliable method of delivering a text message. (Not recommended for critical alerts.) You can also use it for email.

SMPP

Short Message Peer to Peer has 98.9% delivery rate and is always used with a short code.

Both are based on volumes. SMPP services require a monthly agreement with short code. Minimum 3 months.

Short Codes

These are the 5 to 6 digit codes used for premium and non-premium opt-ins; short numbers that are easy to remember. Premiums have a fee that is charged to the end user. Example: text RINGTONE to 12345 — this service is 1.99 per ringtone. Non-premiums are free to the end user. This is an easy opt-in for the consumer to register for your text alerts. You must always offer an opt-out feature. Premiums codes require you to fill out a program brief, which is then reviewed by the carriers so they can approve your content. Take 5 Mobile can handle the entire process for you.

WAP

Wireless Application Protocol connects your phone to a mobile website or landing page. Our in-house programmers can develop a WAP application for you or manage an existing one.

MMS (Multi Media Service)

MMS extends text messaging to include longer text, graphics, photos, audio clips, video clips or any combination of the above, within certain size limits.

Voice Blasting

Take 5 Mobile also provides this unique way to send out mass voice calls in seconds, either to a landline or cell phone. This is done through our VOIP gateway.

Mobile Coupons

Paper vouchers and coupons have had their day, but now the mobile channel makes more sense. By way of unique offer codes, vouchers and coupons remain on consumers' phones once received, vastly improving uptake rates. Later in a retail outlet, consumers can take advantage of special offers simply by displaying the appropriate promo or matrix code to the retailer. Distributing coupons and vouchers to consumers via SMS can drastically reduce costs associated with a campaign. Plus, because each mobile coupon has a unique number, uptake is traceable down to the individual level, allowing the creation of sophisticated customer profiles for future customized marketing.

Mobile Ticketing

Here's a promising idea whose time has come: the distribution of tickets-sports, entertainment, even travel-via SMS and the mobile phone. SMS not only offers significant cost savings for ticketing organizations, it also simplifies tracking the number of tickets sold and distributed. The mobile phone can act as both a payment mechanism and as a delivery channel for tickets. Payment can also be made by other means, with ticket distribution managed via mobile phone. There are many possibilities, all of them working to increase convenience and open up new marketing opportunities.
